Too Busy to Keep Up....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MYLES!!!

Today Myles turns 1 year old. I can't believe that this day last year I became a mommy. What a great feeling. He's grown so much in the past year.

First Play Date

Last Saturday, my friend Nicole who I used to work with at ING Direct came over and brought her little bundle of joy, Mason. The two of them kind of just sized each other up at first because this was the first time Myles was the older baby. They pretty much just did their own thing until I brought out Myles' Saucer and Nicole put Mason in it. Myles was a little jealous and did not feel like sharing.

It was nice seeing Nicole and Mason because I haven't seen them since he was born back in November and to catch up. I can not wait to do it again. Hopefully next time Myles will have learned how to share a little bit.

Myles' 1st Easter

Myles had a great first Easter. The Easter Bunny visited our house and brought him some Graduate Puffs (peach flavored) and some Graduate Yogurt Bites (mixed berry flavored). He loved them and could not wait for mommy to open them.

In the afternoon, we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Hemminger's house for the day. There, Myles got to go on his first Easter Egg Hunt. He had a blast. Of course, James and I had to find his eggs for him. And let me tell you, we must be pretty blind if it takes two grown adults to find one little plastic egg. We looked every where. We finally found it. Great Grandma decided to hide his last egg in a snake hole. James almost stepped on it too.

Sick Little Boy :( :(

Myles has had a rough week. He's under the weather with a nasty cough and being congested. He's having trouble sleeping through the night and finishing his meals. I hope he gets better soon. I really miss my happy baby boy.

Remodeling Our House...

James and I have been busy doing updates to the house. Over the past weekend, we bought new window treatments for the living room and we also bought a new bed spread for the bedroom. We are hoping within the next few weeks or so Uncle Sam can buy us a new bedroom set and new window treatments for the bedroom as well. Decorating and remodeling is so much fun!!

Nothing Really New to Report

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've been really busy and hardly get a chance to myself. Myles is 10 1/2 months. He is such a handful at this moment, but I love every minute of it. He is crawling all over the place and is pulling himself up really well. Before we know it, he will be walking and then James and I will really be in trouble :)

We are starting to plan for Myles' first birthday party which will be Saturday, April 25th at our house. I don't know the exact time or anything, but we will keep you posted and invitations should be out by the end of March so be on the look out.

Nothing really new has happened since I last posted except Myles is getting really good at crawling. We can't leave him alone for two seconds, but he keeps us on our toes. I have been picture happy lately so here are some pictures I took of Myles over the last few weeks. Enjoy!

9 Months Old

Myles is 9 months old today! We just got back from his check up at the doctor's office. He weights 24 lbs 14 oz and he is 27 inches long. He's in the 96% for his weight and in the 26% for his height. His doctor says he's progressing along just great and he's right where he needs to be for his age.

Myles Crawled

I know it's been a while since I posted anything new, but I've been a little busy.

I have some great news to share. Myles crawled for the first time today. I was so excited and so proud for him. I cried of course because I was so thankful to be a part of that with him. It's not the best, but the important thing is that he did it. He went from one edge of the carpet to the other all by himself. WAY TO GO MYLES!!!

Splish Splash I Was Taking A Bath...

Over the weekend, Myles spent the night over at my parent's house because James and I had his company's Christmas party to go to and it was bath night for him. He really loves taking baths and playing with his light up ducky. Here are a few pictures Grandma took while he was in the bath tub.
